PIRATE PRESLEYS OUT AT LAST

alt

The mere mention of a new ELVIS PRESLEY album is enough to send thousands of his devotees scurrying to the record shops.

With disc sales booming at Christmas, RCA's "Rock 'n' Roll No.2 - Elvis Presley with the Jordanaires" should provide many parties with a rocking festive period.

This is vintage Presley - songs recorded mainly in the 1957 era. Its issue is welcomed by Presley-ites like gold, following the "blackmarket" racket in singles from this LP, reported in the MM a fortnight ago.

The record leaves one with a refreshing thought: Presley has certainly not stood still, vocally. He has come a long way since his frantic beat days, as epitomised on this record.
