Presley Punch-up!

Girl Happy (U certificate)

Don't expect anything

like the dramatic story content or action of "Love In Las Vegas" or "Roustabout" when you see Elvis in his latest film "Girl Happy."

But there's plenty of colour, singing and dancing - and, for good measure, an action-packed punch-up with El swinging his fists in convincing and fearsome manner.

Only one criticism. The musical scenes depicting Elvis's combo seem a bit dated by today's standards. The far-out antics of the sax player belong more to the rock-'n'-roll era of Bill Haley of the 1957 period than today's scene.
