BRITISH WORLD PREMIERE FOR NEXT ELVIS FILMELVIS PRESLEY’S next film “California Holiday” – formerly titled “Spinout” – will have its world premiere at London’s Leicester Square Ritz later this month! Ten songs are featured in the movie, in which Presley plays a singer-racing driver.
General release will be on the ABC circuit from October 30. The West End date is not yet finalised.
A spokesman for MGM told the NME: “The film has not yet been seen in any other country, including America, where it will still be called “Spinout.” We changed the title here because we felt it would have more appeal for British audiences.”
Release of the soundtrack album will be not at least until November according to RCA-Victor.
Elvis’ next MGM film, “Double Trouble,” will not be seen in Britain until the spring.
