P FOR Presley Day is September 1, when the first pressings of his new single will be in the shops. The titles? “Wild in the Country,” backed by “I Feel So Bad” (RCA).
Topside, which Presley sings in his film of the same title, is a folksy ballad. Elvis is in his most reverential mood here.
In invigorating contrast, “I Feel So Bad” finds him right back on a rocking kick. Although “Wild” has been made the “A” side, it was the groovy flip that hit a higher charts spot in the States.
