This is a very good example obtained by a close friend during the British Fan Club's first trip to Las Vegas to see Elvis in concert at the Hilton Hotel in August 1972. There is a lovely story surrounding the circumstances of how the signature was obtained. More detailed background can be found in the Elvis Monthly article describing how Rod and Rita bumped into the Colonel out in the lobby of the hotel and this chance meeting led to the Colonel inviting the lucky fans up to Elvis's personal suite where this signature was obtained. I was given this item as a birthday present some 20 years ago, and this remains a treasured item in my personal collection.
